stuff marsHas any body tried actually sending stuff to mars to terraform it?

i just wanna know if we did anything to try to start terraform mars or any like planning
Yes there has been planing but for now 1) We barely know what raw materials we have to work with and 2) Robot technology has not caught up with what a human can do ie think for themselves and form a plan etc. But I don't think that this is to far off in the future....R

But to be fair, nobody has any kind of technology to do it, so... doesn't really matter. Terraforming is an awesome idea for science fiction novels and movies set way stuff marsin the future. But *if* it's ever possible... it really will be a *long* time in the future.

We dont have that kind of technology yet. But Its logical to think that in a 100 years, we'll have the kind of technology to start terra-forming Mars. The actual Terra-forming process will take more than a few centuries. Tress wont just grow out of nowhere.
If we start terra-forming Mars by 2150, I reckonstuff mars Mars would be relatively habitable by 2450.
What do you mean by terraform?

Covering it with McMansions, stinking factories, and millions of miles of bitumen and concrete infested and overrun with cars?

I think I prefer Mars the way it is!

Terraforming Mars is just sci-fi, its a couple of trillion times bigger than any project humans have ever attempted, the entire budget used for the space program over the last 60 years wouldnt be anywhere near enough to even get started.
