The lyrics weren't changed. The first link is for the version by the singer Sa-Fire which was recorded in 1991 under the title 'I Never Heard'. Michael's version (which you linked to in the second link) was recorded in around 1983 - this was also called 'I Never Heard' initially, but Michael re-registered the song in 1985 under the title 'This Is It'.
It's most likely that the lyrics were always the same but that Michael got it wrong whilst recording; he almost always sang without a lyric sheet in front of him, preferring to remember the song and feel it naturally whilst singing - because it's a demo version you can hear certain parts of Michael's recording where he mumbles words which he seems to have forgotten. I would say the "I'm the light of the world I feel grand&qgone lyrics michael jacksonuot; was more of Michael adlibbing after forgetting the original lyric.
well let me be honest , anything that comes out of that man's mouth is awesome ! That's it. I love both lyrics. I love this song, I don't know why, but it makes me feel hopeful and sad at the same time. I think it is like this is goodbye but we will see each other soon.Maybe i am just being just sentimental or something.
But if you mean things looking suspicious and stuff, well there is nothing around this man hasn't been presented in a negative suspicious way.The lies, the rumors, the allegations, everything.Even his death.
