im having problems with my computer with things not working. i think i need some sort of registry software and im looking for if possible a free one.

They are all ABSOLUTELY free, not spyware or other rubbish in disguise, are a lot more effective than ccleaner (everyone suggests that one but it isn't thorough enough)
go to this link: then search for, download and install glary utilities (all rounder can do a lot more than justtotally free computer software downloads registry cleaning), argente registry cleaner (thorough registry cleaner) and regscrubvista (deep scan of registry)
that 3 the last one is iobits advanced windows care its free offers registry cleaning but also system optimization
install these 4 programs and use each one once at a time and let them scan the hard drive and show any results then choose to get rid of any results found
lastly if there is a program on the computer that refuses to be removed then use revo uninstaller this freetotally free computer software downloads software is very powerful and WILL remove ANY software even if its uninstaller is missing or doesn't work

This will fix/repair your registry and much more.
Even remove all of the junk files from your pc, internet history, cookies, etc... all that you would need.
