Until this morning i had free avg 9.0 antivirus. It worked perfect. I wanted to download the free 2011 version so I downloaded the .exe file, saved it and run the program. Almost at the end of the installation process i gavg antivirus free download 2011ot a message saying something like "no plug and play drivers" and that Microsoft recommended to stop downloading the file. Now I not only lost the 9.0 version but also cannot install the 2011 one. Please help me oavg antivirus free download 2011ut! Many thanks
There is a bug in that version, suggest you uninstall it then do a scan through your registry to delete all AVG keys. Try Avast or Microsoft Essentials - both free and both highly rated.
