OS - Windows XP Professional SP2
Thunderbird Version - 2.0.0.6
Installed Add-Ons - WebMail 1.2.3 | WebMail - Hotmail 1.2.7 | WebMail - Yahoo 1.2.2
Problem:
I downloaded both the Hotmail & Yahoo add-ons and installed them through Add-Ons>Install. Everything seemed fine, it asked me to restart Thunderbird after each one and I did, I thought everything had worked. So then I go File>New>Account>Email Account and fill in the information like it asked, I even put in 'pop.mail.yahoo.com' for the Yahoo part when it asked for server information (I didn't have any server info fordownload thunderbird for windows xp Hotmail so that one I could understand not working..) But then both the Hotmail & Yahoo accounts failed to log in after sitting and loading for 2-3 minutes. I then went to the Add-Ons and clicked 'Options' for both Yahoo & Hotmail and I get "No Yahoo/Hotmail Accounts Were Found!".
Any idea how to fix this? I think I've provided every bit of information I could, so hopefully someone can help.

I don't know much about "add ins" But this is what I have done and been successful. Maybe some of the info will help you.
If you want to use Outlook, Outloodownload thunderbird for windows xpk Express, Thunderbird or other third party email clients to view your email you have 2 options.
Subscribe to mail plus:
or download and install YPOPS
then follow the directions for your version of outlook here,
If you have trouble with set up, check the YPOPS installation page for alternate set up instructions.
I currently utilize the most recent version of Thunderbird (2.0.0.4)
and version 0.8.3 of YPOPS (there is a more recent version of YPOPS if you are interested) and have no problems.
